Hester Bray has joined Band & Brown Communications from PR agency Manning Selvage and Lee where she worked in the corporate department, with clients from the IT, financial and business sector including GMAC UK, global IT services company Atos Origin, Affinion International and online banking service Ivobank.
Hester has consumer, B2B and European campaign experience, having previously worked in Paris for both WeberShandwick and GCI-Grey. There she helped manage the British Airways press office team, not only for crisis and issues but also for proactive campaigns on a regional and a national scale.
At Band & Brown Hester is working on client campaigns for Zurich Insurance, the Children’s Workforce Development Council and life assistance company CPP.
Band & Brown Communications has been appointed as life assistance company CPP’s retained agency following a five-way pitch. B&B has been recruited to elevate CPP’s profile as a global leader in life assistance products while supporting the UK company’s goals to sustain strong year-on-year growth, launch new products and enter new sectors.
B&B will be responsible for creating and delivering a national campaign to reach CPP’s wide range of stakeholders including consumers, business partners, SMEs and influencers.
Communications and PR Manager Nick Jones said CPP appointed B&B because “they had the best ideas and the strongest team across consumer, business-to-business and corporate communications.”
CPP helps consumers to cope with the risks and challenges of everyday life and its products include credit and debit card protection, identity theft protection and mobile phone insurance. During its 26 years in business, CPP has acquired 10 million customers and more than 208 business partners across Europe, North America and Asia with a revenue reaching £225.2 million in 2007.
