RELAY COSTS TEAM B&B

Competitors from Band & Brown Communications took to the field earlier in July representing the PR industry – putting their strength, endurance and wits to the test at the ING Direct Inter-agency Sports Day.
Martin Rutland from ING Direct provided a captain’s performance for Team B&B dominating the three-legged race, the hoop run and the space-hopper sprint.
Despite valiant efforts from ING Direct’s James Ktoris in the penalty shoot out and B&B’s Mark Lowe in the welly-wanging, Team B&B’s performance was marred in an accident involving Rutland and B&B board director Graz Belli in the ‘underpants relay’.
At the close of the day, Team B&B’s Chris Blackwood outlasted all comers in the hula hoop endurance challenge to seal top spot for Team B&B, but controversy struck at the awards ceremony when Team B&B was dropped into the silver medal position.
